Directions From Shrewsbury: Take the A458 to Welshpool, then the A483 to Newtown. Join the A489 and continue for 6 miles before turning onto the A470 to Llanidloes.Glyngynwydd is two miles South of Llanidloes on the A470 towards Llangurig & we're on the left-hand side.

 

Directions From London:   We have found this is the best way  M40/M42 

Then head south on the M5 towards Droitwich Spa / Tenbury Wells / Leominster 

Pick up the A44 and follow it the whole way to Rhayader 

Pick up the  A470 to Llangurig and at Llangurig roundabout turn right and we're a couple of miles down the road on the righthand side.

 

Directions from the Severn Bridge: Leave the M4 at Junction 24. Take the A449 to Raglan, then the A40 to Abergavenny & Brecon, about 7 miles after leaving Abergavenny, turn right onto the A479 to Talgarth, followed by the A470 through Builth Wells and Rhayader towards Llangurig. At the roundabout just before Llangurig, continue North on the A470, Glyngynwydd is located on the right-hand side, after about 2 miles, just before a left-hand turning to Cwm Belan village.

 

Train Station :- Caersws (10 miles) providing links to Shrewsbury, Birmingham and beyond. We're more than happy to come and pick you up from the station if you are intending to get to us by public transport. We can also arrange transfers of luggage and equipment for walkers and bikers to meet you at your destination if you are doing one of the many trails, or organise a taxi service pick up or drop off from any station or airport.
